Some of the money raised from recent PA events - Ice-cream sales, Nature Trail, Fireworks Display and the Christmas Fayre is going to buy 4 picnic tables and 2 table tennis tables for the Junior site and go towards the payment for an annual trip for all of the children.
On Saturday 5th December we had our annual Christmas Fayre and everyone had a fantastic time. The children were able to meet Father Christmas and have their photo taken with him and they had lots of fun on all of the activities and stalls. The Infants and Junior Choir sang beautifully. The PA would like to thanks Budgens, Percy Ingles, Shaws the Butchers, the Craft Cabin, Tea&Cake PR, Carolyn Davis Bespoke Cakes, Nicky Bamber, Mr Harris, Sam Roney, Anthony and Sue from MrBounce.com and Shirley Connett. We would like to give special thanks to Jane Sargent for organising this event. We would also like to thank all the parents who ran the class stalls and all of the fantastic volunteers who gave up their time as we could not have a Christmas Fayre without them. And special thanks to Bill - he knows why! We are pleased to say that Class RT won the class stall competition with their coloured sand stall. Well done! The Christmas Fayre made a profit of approximately £3700!! Thank you again to everyone involved.
On Saturday 7th November we had our annual PA Fireworks display and wow what a display it was! The fireworks were absolutely incredible and the weather cleared up just in time to ensure a perfect night for it. We have had so many positive responses to the display and with many people saying that it was the best one yet!! Many thanks to all of our volunteers and people involved in the organising of this event. Special thanks must be said to Maggie Howlett and our team of pyrotechnic trained dads - Ian Torrie, Tony Howlett, Adrian Mitchell and Martin Smith. We would also like to say thank you to Riney's for letting us borrow their crowd control barriers for the night. Thank you to everyone that managed to come to this event and support our school. We are very pleased to say that this event raised a profit of approximately £2500!!!!
