Every week the teachers spend a lot of time looking for some very special children who have done something that deserves recognition. Every Friday morning during assembly, these children are acknowledged and announced to the whole school as a way of celebrating their achievement. This may be in social skills, academics, sportsmanship, attitude, it really can be for anything. Below is a list of the students in 4N that have been recognised in the green book so far this term. We look forward to seeing many more names in the book.
Friday 4th September, 2015 - For great attitude and application to thier learning from day 1.
Friday 11th September, 2015- Chloe for trying something new and persisting with it, Kai- for always having beautiful manners
Friday 18th September, 2015- Stephanie- for working on her wanted poster independantly, Charlie- for fabulous character descriptions in literacy.
Friday 25th September, 2015- Missie- for fabulous maths work with multiplication and Maryam for having the courage to demonstrate the grid method to the whole class
Friday 2nd October, 2015- Grace- for using amazing sentences using time openers and Alex- for fabulous coaching during our gymnastics sessions.
Friday 9th October, 2015- Summer- for persisting with division using the chunking method, Christian for using social skills to help others in the playground, Jensen and Stella for for amazing descriptions of the characters from Oliver Twist using sentence openers, adjectives and direct speech.
Friday 16th of October, 2015 - Bella for great maths skills and Libby G for disigning a great book cover for her book week novel.
