Learning in the Classroom

Diary Writing. This half term in Literacy we are learning how to write diary entries. Today we worked in our Pen Partners pretending to be Oliver Twist.

Human Timeline. We found out some key dates from Victoria's reign and arranged them on a human timeline.

Fractions of.... With your family discuss the photos below. What fraction are girls? What fraction are wearing trousers? What fraction have dark hair?

Book Making for Book Week

Following our class visit to the Science Museum this week, we carried out an experiment from their website. We filled 3 balloons with coloured water and predicted under different conditions which would melt the quickest.

We looked at Pillar five this week in Religion, The Hajj. Below are the words of a song that we learnt to help us understand what happens over the five days of the pilgrimage. Its to the tune of She'll be coming around the mountain.
