The Parents Association are very proud to announce that during the last 18 months we were able to donate over £39,000 to the school! In fact, over the last 5 years we have donated an incredible £105,000!!! This has benefitted all of our children at school. Thank you to all the parents, carers, children and staff at the school and also to the supporters that attend and help at our events for making this possible!!

Welcome to the Chingford Church of England Primary School Parents Association page. The Chingford  C of E Parents Association is a non-profit charity run by the parents and carers of the school to help raise desperately needed funds for the benefit of the children. In addition to this PA page on the school site we also have another site. Please visit our PTA-Events site www.pta-events.co.uk/ccofe to volunteer to help at events and to purchase tickets for some of our events. The PA is incredibly proactive and we always welcome ideas, suggestions and comments from all of our parents and carers so please do get in touch with us directly via our email cofeschoolpa@gmail.com  Please note that all photos are checked and permission is given by the school before they are put on our school PA page. We also have a Facebook (closed) group - Chingford C of E Parents Association Events - please send a request to the group and we can add you!

Events that are coming up. More information/letters to follow -

 

Fireworks display - 2nd November 2019 at 7pm on the junior site - Last year this was a sold out event! More information will be sent out soon on how to purchase your tickets! If you can volunteer to help us on the night please send us an email to the above gmail address. All volunteers get free entry to this event plus a free hot dog/burger and drink!!

 

Christmas Fair - 7th December 2019 to be held on the junior site. We are looking for a team of volunteers who would like to join the planning committee for the 2019 Christmas Fair. These events only happen because of the support of all of our fabulous parents and carers. You do not need to possess any special skills and you do not need to have done anything like this before. All you need is a little bit of willingness and a lot of Christmas cheer! If you would like to join the planning team, please register your interest on www.pta-events.co.uk/ccofe and we will be in touch soon to start the  planning. Without you, these events simply cannot take place!

 

Christmas Classical Concert - 19th December 2019 at Ss Peter and Paul Church. Following last year's brilliant summer classical concert we are now arranging a Christmas classical concert.

 

Thank you for your ongoing support, time and donations! Please be proud by supporting all of our events from April 2019 we were able to do the following -

£136 - Funded parent council crossing petition

£5,000 - New library on the junior site

£35 - Books

£3,182 - Infant site sensory room

£2,000 - School trip subsidy

 

From April 2018 to March 2019 - 

£250 - First aid training course for all children in Year 6

£215 - Welly rack for reception classes

£616 - Leavers yearbooks for every child in Year 6

£25,000 - Towards the funding for the air-conditioning at the juniors

£2,000 - School trips subsidy

£314 - Music trolley and instruments

£2,500 - Enabling Enterprise

£74 - Paint for murals and Bobby Moore stand

£282 - Frost film for the junior hall windows

£200 - Planting for Chingford in Bloom

£142 - Christmas crackers for all children's Christmas lunches

 

From April 2017 to March 2018 - 

£2,110 - School trip subsidy

£3,557 - New pond area

£2,778 - Junior site sensory room

CO-OP FUNDRAISING!

We have been chosen by the CO-OP as one of their charities for the year which ends on 1st November 2019. If you have a CO-OP membership card you can now go online and choose us as your charity! A lot of us regularly use the local CO-OP and by having a CO-OP card you can save money for yourself and your chosen charity! The points soon add up! This is a great opportunity for the PA to receive funding to benefit our school and children!

Latest total that we have raised with the CO-OP is approximately £4,419.08!!!!

Are you a member of our Lucky 100 Club?! You can either sign up with a monthly payment of £5 or £60 for a year. You will be assigned a number between 1 and 100. 3 lucky winners will be drawn on the last Friday of the month. You can purchase more than one number. You can buy your ticket on www.pta-events.co.uk/ccofe If all numbers sell the monthly prizes will be :-

1st prize - £150

2nd prize - £75

3rd prize - £25

This will be revised accordingly if not all numbers are sold. Family members and friends are more than welcome to join in too! The money raised for the school will give each teacher money to spend on something special for their class throughout the year. Good Luck!!
