Welcome to Year One!

Topics & Projects
This half term we will be learning more about the world around us as we explore the season of spring in science, learn about life in Victorian times for history and visit churches to learn about the Christening ceremony in our RE curriculum. We will also be enjoying poetry and story writing in Literacy and thinking about issues in our local environment as part of the PSHCE curriculum and Circle Time. Why not ask your children about their weekly 'Lollipop Partner' for learning! Thank you for your support as always and we hope you will find some time to follow up school work with the reading books, sight vocabulary, spelling and mental maths skills.
