Black History Month

Three Year 6 pupils, Coco, Millie and Tia led assemblies today across our Infant and Junior sites focussing on Black History Month.

Millie commented, "We focussed on important people in our modern society including the long-distance athlete Mo Farrah, Diane Abbott who is a politician, and the footballer, Marcus Rashford."

Coco added, "We wanted to do a Black History assembly to the other children in the school to raise awareness that people from all ethnicities make important contributions to the society we live in and to support the struggle to end racism."
