Diwali Dance Workshop
Year 3 pupils attended a Ramayana Dance workshop today as part of their RE studies on Hinduism.
The Ramayana is the most well-known story from Diwali and one of the most influential works in world literature and concerns the great Hindu epic about Prince Rama and his wife Sita.
Pupils were given the opportunity to learn about The Ramayana through dance allowing them to improve their cultural understanding and their confidence in self-expression.
