Harvest Festival
The school held a harvest festival today at the Junior site. Pupils at the infants joined in the occasion via a live video link.
We we’re overwhelmed by the donations of tinned and packaged food products despite the difficult economic times we are all facing. The donations will be passed on to a local food bank to help those in the community who are struggling to make ends meet. The generosity of our families supports our school’s Christian vision which encourages our stakeholders to ‘not only look after ourselves but to think of others, too.’ (Philippians 2:4)
As is our tradition, Key Stage 2 pupils took part in a bread making competition with the winners being presented with book tokens.
