Junior Library is transformed!

A team of volunteer workers from the Balfour Beatty Company recently came to the Junior site  to refurbish the library.  Inspired by the children's desire for a jungle themed environment, the team set to work following plans that required  a patchwork elephant, a cobra, exotic birds, stuffed monkeys galore and a vast jungle canopy.

     Ably assisted by a group of specially chosen pupils, the library was quickly transformed as you can see from the attached photographs. Year 6 pupil, Evie, described the transformation as, " Amazing - it's so different from other libraries." An impressed Jamie, also from Year 6, commented, "I thought it would be imposiible to get the changes done in one day. It was a great experience working under pressure."
