Dear Parents and Carers,
We are really looking forward to the Christmas Fayre this year and hope that as many of you as possible are able to attend this fun and festive event to help make it a success. The Fayre will take place on
Saturday 10th December from 12 – 4pm
There will be a Santa’s Grotto, fairground rides, games, crafts, Christmas Carols, Elfridges shop, Christmas shopping, mince pies, BBQ, a bar, an Elfy room, raffles, tombolas, snow, and much more!
We need your help!!
Please follow the link below and sign up to volunteer if you can – there are plenty of 1 hour slots so you don’t need to volunteer for the whole event. If you can’t help on the day, perhaps you can volunteer some time before the event? There are lots of options to choose from!

We cannot run this event without the help of parents and carers so anything you can do is really appreciated.
Friday 25th November - will be a Non uniform day. We would be grateful if you could bring a bottle for the bottle tombola and/or a teddy for the teddy bear tombola. There will be drop off points outside each entrance of the infant school and outside the junior school. If you are able to help collect donations on the morning of Friday 25th November, please e-mail emma.timothy2016@gmail.com
Elfridges – Our Elf run gift shop will be running again this year so that your children can buy a present for their family to put under the tree. Entry is strictly Children Only! Any donations of unwanted gifts or anything you have to donate will be gratefully received. This could be smellies, games, chocolates – as long as it is unused we will take it! Please bring any donations to reception at the infant or junior site and label them Elfridges if possible. Thank you.
Raffle Prizes – It’s not too late to donate a raffle prize, if you know of any businesses that are able to provide a prize for our main raffle please e-mail ccofepa@gmail.com.
Hamper Raffle Stall – This is a really popular stall and as per previous years we are asking for your support in providing donations so that we can make up the hampers to raffle on the day. We are asking each school year to donate towards a specific hamper so the children can come and see their finished year group hamper. Please see below the list for each year’s theme and some ideas for donations:
Reception – Men’s Hamper
Ideas: Wine, Beer, snacks, socks, smellies, gloves, coffee, chocolate
Year 1 – Ladies’ Hamper
Ideas: Wine, smellies, candles, chocolates, socks, coffee, teas, nail varnish
Year 2 – Children’s Hamper (infant school age 4-7)
Ideas: arts & crafts, books, small toys, chocolate coins, stocking fillers, colouring books and pencils
Year 3 – Children’s Hamper (junior school age 8 – 11)
Ideas: books, arts & crafts, chocolates, small games, puzzles, small toys, stocking fillers
Year 4 – Chocolate Hamper
Ideas: Boxes of chocolate, chocolate coins, hot chocolate, liquors, chocolate cake, truffles
Year 5 – Christmas Day Hamper
Ideas: Prosecco, wine, Christmas pudding, cake, crackers, mince pies, candles, boxes of chocolate, non-perishable relishes and packets of food)
Year 6 – Traditional Christmas Hamper
Ideas: Mulled wine, biscuits, cake, pickles, dates, preserves, panettone, mince pies
Donations are being accepted from today until Friday 2nd December. Please attach a note to your donation to say which year group hamper it is for. The hampers will then be made up and displayed at the Christmas Fayre ready to be raffled.
