Professor Meets Year 6 Pupils
Prof. Maxwell Hutchinson, a renown architect, visited the school to talk to Year 6 pupils about his career and remarkable life which now also sees him working as a deacon at the local Parish church.
Prof. Hutchinson, who is a regular on radio and television, amazed the children with anecdotes about his life which included how he escaped the 2004 tsunami that hit South - East Asia, his involvement in the pop scene during the 1960s and 1970s and meetings with such luminaries as former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, and US Presidential candidate, Donald Trump!
Year 6 pupil, Adam, commented, " It was really inspiring listening to the achievements of Professor Hutchinson. I thoroughly enjoyed his talk."
