Pupils Teach Parents
It was a case of back to school recently for over 20 parents of Year 6 children who spent a morning working alongside their children during a maths lesson on division. The sessions organised by Year 6 teachers, Miss Roberts and Miss Bruford, focussed on modern teaching methods and proved an eye opener for many of the mums and dads present. Miss Roberts who leads maths across the school described the morning as, " Very productive! There was a lot of head scratching and nervous laughter at first but everyone enjoyed the experience and some mysteries about the teaching and learning of long division were unravelled."
