School Games Activities: Girls Football League

Girls Football League
 

On Thursday 30th January 2013 the girls football team which included Charlotte, Asha, Evie, Alice, Nasia, Jade, Charley, Reyhan and Lucy, played in the league semi-final at Douglas Eyre. They all enjoyed every bit of the amazing opportunity and experience. Drawing their first match and winning their second match due to Jade scoring a goal, sent them happily through to the quarter final. Even after a brilliant start, they unfortunately didn’t make it through to the semi final but still did very well.

 

Here is what some of the team players had to say: Charley button said, “I was nervous at first but then grew in confidence and enjoyed it.”

Charlotte says, “I was overjoyed when Jade scored a goal and got us into the quarter finals.”
