School Goes Science Mad
The 'Mad Scientist' visited the school recently for a special science-packed assembly as a prelude to the launch of an after school science club. During the assembly demonstrations were given to the children about rocket propulsion and overcoming the force of gravity.
On top of the visit from the 'Mad Scientist', four Year 6 pupils got to visit Forest School to take part in a Junior Science Competition. The children pitted their wits against other schools from all over the South-East of England competing in challenges linked to biology, chemistry and physics.
