Y4 Link Day with Our Lady and St George's catholic school

Held in the second week of November, Inter Faith Week aims to strengthen good interfaith relations, increase awareness of the different and distinct faith communities, and increase understanding between people of religious and non-religious beliefs. Yesterday, as part of Inter Faith week, Chingford C of E were invited to attend the first of a series of ‘link’ days with a Roman Catholic School in Walthamstow.  Coordinated by The Linking Network and supported by the Department for Education, link days are an opportunity for children build a deeper understanding of different beliefs & develop their communication skills.

On the Link Day, Y4 Ennis-Hill went to Our Lady and St George's school, whilst Y4 Brunel  remained at school to host a visiting class from Our Lady and St George’s. In the spring term they will have the opportunity to complete their Link Days by swapping over their visits.
