    A beautiful day was had in the sunshine!!

     

    The team results are:

    1st blue

    2nd green

    3rd red

    4th yellow

     

  • Year 3 visit to British Museum 23.06.2015

    Year 3 visited the British Museum last Tuesday as part of their work on Egyptians.  The children especially enjoyed looking at the mummies.

  • Yr 4 visit to Barbican 29.06.2015

    On Monday 29th June, year 4 were fortunate enough to go to the Barbican to see the London Symphony Orchestra perform in concert.

     

    They performed several pieces by Russian composer Modest Mussorgsky. After having spent the previous half term performing 'Baba Yaga', we were able to join in with the performance of this piece.

    On Friday, 26th June, Mrs Rhys and Mrs Smethurst went with a part of 28 pupils from Y5 to the Value Games held at the Peter May Sports Centre.  Here are some photographs from the event.

  • Yr 4 Football Competition 19.06.2015

    Eight year 4 boys were invited to take part in a tournament at Leyton Orient on Friday 19th June competing against schools both in and out of our borough.

     

    Winning three and drawing two of the six matches, the results were:

     

    Cofe 1 - Mayville 1

    Cofe 2 - Hillyfield O

    Cofe O - Curwen O

    Cofe O - Ilford Jewish School 2

    Cofe 4 - South Grove 0

    Cofe 4 - Chase Lane 0.

     

    Special mention to Alessandro who scored twice! Thanks go to Mr Winspear and Mr Bloomfield who accompanied the children as well as parents who supported.

     

    Following these impressive results, the children have been invited to another tournment in October .
