The school bade farewell to its Year 6 pupils today following a service at the Parish Church and a brunch back at school shared with members of their families. The school also said goodbye to long serving deputy headteacher, Mr Osborne, and Year 4 teacher, Ms Da Silva, who has taught at the school for 5 years.

LSA, Mrs Hobbins, also leaves us along with Mrs Beg, the school’s business manager for the past 9 years.

A special thank you to Mother Marilyn, herself a former C of E pupil, who led the church service.

We wish all our leavers God's blessing as they begin new phases in their lives.

  • Year 3 visit to Stansted Mountfitchet

    Fri 14 Jul 2023

Year 3 pupils had a fantastic time visiting Stansted Mountfitchet Castle this week as part of their history module on the Anglo-Saxons. Even the unseasonal weather couldn't dampen the children's spirits!

  • Talent Contest Final

    Fri 14 Jul 2023

Year 5 pupil, Issy, stormed to victory in this year’s T-Factor final by receiving the largest share of the Key Stage 2 pupil vote for her rendition of ‘Naughty’  from Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical.

Eight acts fought out a hugely entertaining final that included singing, comedy and dance.

Harry from Class 3 Potter really enjoyed watching the contest saying, “I loved the guy who did the Russian dancing but it was really hard to vote for one particular act as they were all so good.”

Year 4 pupil, Arthur, commented, "I absolutely loved the show. I was rooting for my classmates Anthony and Caleb but unfortunately they didn't win."

Max from Year 5 felt Francesca from Year 3 was unlucky not to win. "It was amazing to hear a Year 3 pupil sing so well," he enthused, "she was amazing!"
