London Youth Games

In the past, at this time of year, we have been lucky enough to attend the London Youth Games in Crystal Palace with the gymnastics team, the tennis squad as well as girls’ football teams. The children having come first in their borough competitions, have had the privilege to represent LBWF competing against the other 32 London boroughs in their sport. Sadly, this year it can obviously not take place but the competition has gone virtual! 

 

For any children interesting in taking part, please see the information below and on the LYG website. There are prizes to win too! Last week, the first week of the competition, LBWF had children from 3 local schools competing and the borough came 28th out of the 33 boroughs. It would be great if more Waltham Forest children could take part and get us up the rankings!
