School Uniform
The school colours are grey, green and white. School uniform gives every child a shared identity, supports a sense of belonging and keeps a level playing field regardless of family circumstances.
We also take seriously the Department for Education's statutory guidance on the cost of school uniform, which requires schools to keep uniform affordable and to limit the number of compulsory branded items. All branded items should be kept to a minimum and from September 2026 primary schools will be limited to three or fewer compulsory branded items. Our uniform has been reviewed with this firmly in mind and our compulsory branded items are the jumper or cardigan and the new PE top, well within this limit.
Compulsory branded items
- School jumper or cardigan with logo
- PE top, linked to your child's Team Colour
Generic items (available from any retailer)
- Grey trousers, shorts, skirt or pinafore dress
- White polo shirt or shirt/blouse
- Green checked/gingham summer dress (girls)
- Plain black shoes or trainers (No visibly branded shoes / trainers)
- Tights or socks in grey
Optional branded items
- School fleece (for outdoor wear only, not to be worn in the classroom)
- School hoodie (for use during PE only)
We ask all children to come appropriately dressed for school and to wear flat shoes.
Both boys and girls may wear shorts but please ensure they are grey and not casual in style.
Please note: dark green polo shirts are no longer part of our uniform. However, we understand that some may still be used whilst we are in a transition period.
PE Kit
Children are expected to come to school dressed in PE kit on their PE days.
- New PE top, in your child's Team Colour
- Black shorts, loose fitting (summer) or black jogging bottoms or leggings (winter)
- Plain black or white trainers or plimsolls
- Optional: school hoodie
Not part of school uniform
- Cycling shorts, in any length
- Leggings worn as a replacement for trousers, shorts or a skirt
Moving to the new PE top
The new PE top is being introduced gradually. If you are already in the school you are welcome to buy now or continue to wear the current PE (white) top. If you are new to school your children are expected to wear the new PE tops for PE. We are very happy for families to pass on uniform to one another.

We have two approved suppliers. The new PE top and hoodie are only available from Forest Casuals.

Other uniform expectations
- If your child has long hair, please ensure it is tied back for school in school colours.
- Please ensure that all clothing is clearly marked with your child's name.
- For safety, jewellery other than studs for pierced ears is not allowed. Children may wear a watch, but not one that can take photographs or record. The school cannot take responsibility should watches or stud earrings be lost or damaged.
