Progression in Music

Our weekly lessons follow the Charanga Model Music scheme where Knowledge, Skills and Learning Progression have been explicitly set out in a Spiral Curriculum. In addition, we incorporate series of lessons relating to projects or concerts with the Royal Opera House and the LSO.

Listening

In addition to weekly whole class music sessions, children experience listening to a range of music both in class and during collective worship taken from the list below. Adults and pupils also suggest and share listening that they find enjoyable, relevant or inspirational.
