Our school has been encouraging children to create their own clubs and the children have really been enjoying taking part in other children’s clubs. Very recently, two girls have started a baking club for year six children to take part in. With a little (or a lot) help from the school cooks, Tracey and Laura, the club is a success! They made apple donuts the first time and really enjoyed making them,

“It was lots of fun and the cooks were really friendly! I learnt so much about cooking and chopping!” stated Emma in year six.

“The baking club was an amazing experience, I learned so much with the help of our lovely chefs,” said Zhion in year six.

“I’m so thankful that our school has finally introduced a baking club! It gives us children an opportunity to learn an important skill that we can use throughout our lives.” Emmeline, another Year 6 pupil, quoted.
