On Tuesday 7th June nine year 4 children took part in a borough football festival to celebrate the forthcoming Euro 2016 tournament in France.

Our squad of two girls and seven boys were 'Russia' and took on 23 other teams from Waltham Forest schools.

Despite Stella getting a ball In the face, the children played amazingly well and did their coach, Mr Winspear, proud by winning the tournament!

We are delighted with their success and it is encouraging that they are so young with year 5 and 6 competitions still ahead of them!!
