The Junior Harvest Bread Baking Competition took place on Wednesday 7th October and what a day it was! There were a fantastic 61 entries this year, the best involvement in years, so we were delighted to award a winner for each year group.

Children baked their own harvest loaves, from traditional white, wholemeal and soda breads to creative autumn flavours, all made by the young bakers themselves with adult supervision for safety. Revd Darren and Tracy, our school cook, tasted every entry to decide the winners.

Our winners were:

• Year 5: Jack Hargreaves
• Year 6: Emili Sorodoc

Congratulations to our winners and a huge thank you to everyone who took part. Your wonderful bakes brought the spirit of harvest to life in our school community.
