Last Friday we had our annual Let Girls Play Day event and it was a great success. It was fantastic to see all of the different football shirts on display representing teams and countries from all over the world!

 The girls had an opportunity to take part in dribbling, shooting and passing sessions as well as being exposed to a football game. Those taking part behaved impeccably throughout each session and showed wonderful enthusiasm and footballing ability.

Despite the rain attempting to spoil outdoor proceedings it did not defer from what was a wonderful day and a great opportunity for girls to take part in football sessions. If this has encouraged your child to take part in more football sessions, then the girls’ football club (year 5 and 6 only) runs on a Tuesday with Mr Blake and spaces are available for after Easter.
