Pupils from Class 6B recently spent an afternoon with Orient stars Kevin Lisbie and Matt Spring as part of the local club's 'Adopt a Player' scheme. Matt, who visited us earlier in the school year, and Kevin, who once scored a hat trick against Liverpool, spent time having a kick-about with the pupils as well as finding time to answer questions and sign autographs. The club also provided the school with 25 pairs of tickets for the home game against Walsall. Teacher Julie Roberts praised the players saying, "Nothing was too much for them. They seemed to enjoy the kick-about as much as the kids!"

Year 6 student, Lewis, was just as impressed describing Matt and Kevin as '"wicked!"

The children who received the match tickets for the game against Walsall all said they had a great time and were proud that the the two players, along with Jonathan Tehoue, who visited us earlier in the year, all featured in the game.
