Two Year 5 pupils, Hasan and Zhion, led an assembly this morning on both the Infant and Junior sites to mark the life of England’s 1966 World Cup winning football team captain Bobby Moore, whilst at the same time raising awareness of bowel cancer; a disease that Bobby died from 30 years ago.

The assembly also marked the start of the school’s mini World Cup tournament. Hasan and Zhion are planning a fun raising event on the day of the final to raise money for Cancer Research UK’s Bobby Moore Fund.
