The Red Balloon Foundation play a key role in supporting the School's delivery of the RE curriculum by providing us with festival boxes each term containing artefacts and other resources that support a PowerPoint presentation produced by Luke Lowrie and his team.

This term's 'Easter Box' focuses on the parable of 'The Tenants' found in Matthew's Gospel with the children being given the opportunity to explore whether Christians believe that Jesus' death on the Cross was a tragic mistake rectified by God through the resurrection, or whether what happened on Good Friday was actually God's plan all along.

Year 3 pupil, Rebecca, found it interesting learning about Holy Week, saying, "I learnt that Jesus suffered badly before being crucified."

Fellow Year 3 pupil, Eliz, added, "I enjoyed the presentation by Luke as it was really interesting and educational."
