RRSA pupil event at Newport primary
We went to Newport Primary School to share our good practice with other schools in the borough that are on their Rights Respecting Schools Journey. Indie, William and Aliza spoke with great confidence and enthusiasm to 30 children and teachers from across the borough. They spoke about the fact that our school got involved in Outright this year – and invited Sir Ian Duncan Smith in to school to answer questions about our traffic campaign. The Outright campaign this year was to engage with our changemaker – which we did with great success. The organisers of Outright have even chosen our work to include in a Powerpoint that has been sent to all M.P.s within parliament. Helen Trivers, the Unicef co-ordinator for London Boroughs was very impressed
