School Council Visit London Assembly
The school council followed up their recent trip to Walthamstow Town Hall with a visit to City Hall, the home of the London Assembly. The visit continues the council's process of learning about democracy and how it impacts our society at local, city and national levels.
The children also got a bird's-eye view of the capital from the top of the building which stands on the south bank of the River Thames opposite the Tower of London.
The next planned visit for the councillors is to the Houses of Parliament.
