Once again C of E fielded a team in the opening round of the annual English Football Leagues U11’s Kids' Cup competition which offers the winning team the prize of representing  Leyton Orient in the Grand Final that’s played at Wembley Stadium!

Sadly for our team, which included a mix of Year 5 & 6 boys and girls, defeats against Yardley and Aldersbook Primary schools meant we failed to progress to the next stage of the competition.

Nevertheless, our players enjoyed the experience. Madiya commented, " It was a great opportunity to get to Wembley so I am disappointed. However, I did enjoy taking part."  Squad captain, George, added, "Although our team play was good we failed to take our chances which cost us dearly."
