Year 3 Church Visit
As part of their Religious Education studies, pupils from Year 3 visited the Parish Church today where they met Father Justin for the first time since his appointment as rector last year. Father Justin took the children on a guided tour of the church informing them of its history and the purpose of artefacts and furniture found in the building.
Year 3 pupil Ethan commented, 'I enjoyed putting on the purple chorister robes."
Classmate Lois added, 'It was fascinating to discover the gravestone of Owen Stone who used to be headmaster of our school back in the Victorian times.'
Fellow Year 3 pupil, Cody, was very excited to get to ring the church bells, 'It was brilliant!' he said.
