We proudly entered a Year 5 & 6 School Football Tournament featuring an impressive 32 teams. We took two squads - one Year 6 team and one Year 5 team - and both represented the school brilliantly throughout the day.

Year 6 Team Performance

Our Year 6 side — Harry, Alex O, Alex N, Dylan, Rowan, George, Mikaal and Mason - competed in five tough matches.
They secured 2 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses, showing resilience and determination against strong opposition. Every player contributed, battling hard in every game and doing the school proud with their attitude and effort.
 

Year 5 Team – An Incredible Run to the Final

Our Year 5 team — Zac P, Zak B, Ben, Greyson, Arlo, Jasper, Kyran and Max — had an outstanding tournament, progressing all the way to the final stages.
The final was a thrilling three-way contest against Year 6 teams, showing just how impressive their achievement was.

• Game 1 vs Newport – 1–1 draw

• Newport vs Whittingham – 1–1 draw
• Chingford C of E vs Whittingham – 0–0 draw

With all three teams so evenly matched, the tournament was decided on goal difference. Newport edged it, meaning Chingford C of E finished joint second overall.

An incredible achievement, especially competing against older players.
