Year 2 had a wonderful day out at the William Morris Gallery in Walthamstow, exploring the life and work of one of Britain's most beloved designers. The children wandered through rooms filled with extraordinary fabrics, wallpapers, stained glass and tiles, many of them instantly recognisable from everyday life!

William Morris believed that beautiful things should be available to everyone, a message that clearly resonated with our curious and thoughtful Year 2s. From intricate woven textiles to stunning printed patterns, the exhibits sparked plenty of conversation about colour, nature and the stories behind great design.

It was a brilliant reminder of how art is all around us.
