On Tuesday 9 June 2026, Year 5 will be visiting Neasden Temple. The children will be learning about Hinduism as part of their religious studies.

Travel method: Coach

Lunch: Healthy packed lunch required (no fizzy drinks, seafood, nuts or glass bottles and a light back pack is suitable)

Dress code: School uniform and appropriate footwear.

Please note, boys must wear long trousers.

Girls must wear leggings or tights.

No bare legs on show. Shoulders must be covered.

If you would like the school dinner team to organise a free packed lunch for your child, please let the school know in writing by email (school@ccofe.waltham.sch.uk) at least a week before we leave.

Please ensure that your child arrives at school promptly at 8.50am, as we would like to leave as soon as possible to get the most out of our time at the Temple. Please note that we will be back at school before the end of the school day.

There will be an opportunity to visit the souvenir shop. If you wish for your child to purchase a small souvenir, please do not send anymore than £5 in a purse, wallet or envelope with your child’s name on.
