This year’s theme is kindness – see the table below for competition details.
The winning entry for each phase group will be rewarded with a GOLD AWARD! The deadline for competition entries is Monday 25th May (to be submitted by no later than noon). The winning entry for each phase group shall be announced on WB: Monday 1st June! Please ensure that your full name and class details are clearly written on your entry! Submit your competition entries to: school@ccofe.waltham.sch.uk

KS1 (R- Year 2)
Draw a detailed picture to show what kindness looks like.
-Can you include labels / a caption?
Lower KS2 (Years 3-4)
Write a poem based on the kindness theme. You could write an acrostic poem, free verse, narrative poem, Haiku, shape poem, etc. The possibilities are endless!
-What does kindness look like? Smell like? Taste like? Feel like?
Upper KS2 (Years 5-6)
Create a comic strip to sequence a narrative on the theme of kindness
-include speech bubbles, thought bubbles, captions, narrative, onomatopoeia, pictures and a title

Pupil shaves head for charity
