  • Year 4 Enabaling Enterprise at Westfields

    Wed 05 Oct 2016

On Wednesday 5th October, 10 lucky children in Year 4 were given the opportunity to visit Westfield centre management to learn about how business works.

We went behind the scenes meeting people who run the largest shopping centre in Europe.

We worked in 4 teams with another school of Year 6 children from Dagenham.

We had to design ideas in our teams to attract more shoppers to Westfield.

It was fascinating and a privilege to find how things work. And we had a free lunch too!!

    Our teams were called:

    The Fantastic Four

    The Sharp Shoppers

    Neo Tech Busters

    The VIPS

    Team Techno

We had a tour around Westfields! We had to think about technology, look at the different shoppers there, any fun activities there.

In the afternoon, we worked in our teams to design a shopping centre attraction. We drew the floor plan from a bird's eye view including  special features.

At the end of the day, we had to present our ideas in front of an x factor style judging panel made up of the people who run Westfield!

Michael and lily Mae were in the winning team
