Yr 5 Suntrap Camp July 2015
Wed 22 Jul 2015Year 5 students recently enjoyed an overnight stay camping at the Suntrap Field Study Centre. Despite the weather the children still had a memorable time!

T-Factor Final 20.07.2015
Wed 22 Jul 2015Congratulations to Year 4 pupil Ria Littman who won this year's T-Factor competition. Ria received the most votes from her school mates out of a field of 8 other talented performers. On show with Ria were tap dancers, musicians, singers and a magician!

Sportsperson of the Year Awards
Wed 22 Jul 2015Year 6 pupil Samuel Constantinou was crowned Chingford C of E Primary School's 'Sportsperson of the Year 2015' at the annual end of term awards ceremony held at the Juniors yesterday. Samuel won the award for his sportsmanship and sporting prowess which has seen him win the Borough's U11's cross- country and the school's table tennis tournament.
As you can see from the photographs, Samuel was not alone in collecting his awards with recognition given to numerous individuals and teams. The school's 'Team of the Year' trophy was won by our gymnasts who represented Waltham Forest in the London Youth Games.

Yr 3 Pimp Hall Autumn & Spring Visits
Tue 21 Jul 2015Year 3 paid their first trip to the Pimp Hall allotments in October of last year to see what was growing.
On Year 3's second visit they compared how the allotments had looked in the autumn to how they looked on this visit. The children also met Lotty, the allotment cat and Richard who, together with "Pumpkin Man" look after the bees (newly introduced to the site).

Yr 2 Seaside Fair 20.07.2015
Mon 20 Jul 2015As part of the enterprise scheme Yr 2 held a seaside fair on the Infant site. This was a roaring success and we would like to thank everyone who came along and supported us.
The grand total is £382.17!!!!!!!!!!

Yr 3 Visit to Organic Lea 15.07.2015
Thu 16 Jul 2015Year 3 went to Organic Lea to learn more about plants growing. We had a great day, including a forest walk, picnic and even an opportunity to use some of the tools to help out the workers!

Year 6 Enterprise Reward
Wed 15 Jul 2015Year 6 have had a fantastic day on the field today. As a result of their hard work during our enterprise project, we were able to hire a huge inflatable slide and inflatable pirate ship obstacle course. We also enjoyed a barbecue and ice cream too.

Yr 6 Activity Week 2015
Fri 10 Jul 2015Those Year 6 pupils who did not go on the residential trip to the Isle of Wight enjoyed a fabulous week of activities which included visits to the Tower Bridge Experience, the Olympic Park, William Morris Gallery and Epping Forest. As you can see from the photographs the children had a memorable time! Special thanks to our LSA, Mrs Smethurst, who organised and led the visits.
