• Y6 Bubble closed until Monday 9th November 2020

  Sadly, due to a confirmed case of COVID-19 the Y6 bubble will remain off school, self-isolating until Monday 9th November.

  Work will be set via google classroom. More details to follow at the end of this week about the work.

  School re-opens after half term for all other year groups on the 2nd November as planned.

• DIY day success!

  A massive thank you to all the parents, governors and pupils who came to school on Saturday 17th and Saturday 24th October and worked hard so hard to transform different areas of our school. It has been a rousing success! Lots of areas have had a complete make-over! A special thank you to Dan Bond, one of our parent governors for organising these events.

• School Pays Tribute to Former Teaching Assistant, Wendy Cain

  The school paid its tributes today at the funeral of Wendy Cain, a much loved and respected Teaching Assistant, who retired from service 4 years ago. Wendy worked at the school for many years and was a fantastic TA held in high esteem by both pupils and staff. Along with a floral tribute, the school has made a donation to St Clare Hospice, Harlow, where Wendy spent the last days of her life.

  At a time when it's needed most, the school came together for#HelloYellow to support young people's mental health on World Mental Health Day.

  The restrictions imposed on schools due to Covid-19 didn't stop the school's harvest festival celebrations this week. A zoom act of collective worship led by Luke Lowrie from the Red Balloon Foundation was the highlight along with the generous donation of foodstuffs from families which will go to support a local food bank.
