Tennis Competition
Fri 29 Apr 201617 children from years 3 and 4 were invited to take part in a borough Tennis competition at the Connaught club in Chingford on the morning of Friday 29th April.
Competing against local schools, we played fantastically. It was lovely to see ex pupils now at Chingford a Foundation school who were the umpires and scorers.
A and B teams made it through to the finals and the A team won so we are back for the borough finals next month.

Mon 25 Apr 2016Daisy, Ellis, William and Imogen made it through to the gymnastics finals at letting sixth form college on Friday 22nd April.
Competing against parkside, Yardley, Woodside and handsworth schools in three disciplines - vault, floor and body management.

Marathon Day - Wednesday 13th April
Thu 14 Apr 2016On Wednesday 13th April we held Marathon Day at the KS2 site in honour of Miss Efreme who will be running the London marathon in 11 days time!
The activities that the children took part in included:
1 x country 2 orienteering 3 Kurling 4 circuits 5 speed stacking 6 boxing 7 parachute 8 tug o’ war 9 quiz 10 drawing sports 11 archery 12 table tennis 13 fine motor 14 tyres and space hoppers
The weather was glorious and the children had a unique experience. Well done to the year 5 and 6 volunteers for their leadership skills.

Premier League U11's Tournament
Thu 14 Apr 2016Everton and England defender, Leighton Baines, recently made the draw for the finals of the Premier League U11s Tournament to be held at Goodison Park in May.
Chingford C of E will be representing Tottenham Hotspur on the day after winning Spurs' regional tournament a couple of months ago.
The team have been drawn in a group involving teams representing Arsenal, Bournemouth, Chelsea and Newcastle.
