The children were met by our host for the day, Richard Nicholson, who besides instructing the children about the role of London's Mayor and the London Assembly in governing the city, took the party into the debating chamber to see members of the London Assembly debating the capital's transport issues.

As part of our trip to New City Hall, the children also received free tickets for a return journey on the IFS Cloud cable car ride.
