  • Ms Lampard wins a key worker award!

    Fri 19 Jun 2020

Ms Lampard  said she was touched to be nominated and delighted to have won!  She said that she feels she has won it on behalf of the whole staff team but was unable at the time of interview to confirm whether she would share the prize! The prize is a beautiful Kate Spade handbag!

The first Ms Lampard knew of the nomination was when Kate Spade's marketing manager contacted her to tell her she had been nominated and to check some details! This is part of the citation that made Ms Lampard a winner!

" I would like to nominate a Key Worker who is a head teacher, she works in north London with children with so many issues, children in care, children with serious health issues, children who are in danger being at home so she has to keep the school open with a really positive attitude and she has had to cancel her well deserved Easter holiday. She does food deliveries each week to children who are living below the poverty line all over NE London. Every day whilst I’m on furlough and avoiding people I admire the fact that she goes into work and makes these children feel like life has some sort of normality.

     Please consider this admission.

Kindest regards - I’ll give you more examples if needed!!"

  • New Rector Meets Pupils

    Thu 18 Jun 2020
The new rector of the Parish Church, Father Justin met school pupils today via a webcam to help with our online act of collective worship. We welcome Father Justin to the Parish and look forward to meeting him in the flesh once Covid-19 restrictions are lifted and the school returns to its normal routine.
  • Online Act of Collective Worship

    Tue 09 Jun 2020

Year 6 pupils experienced an online act of collective worship when Mother Katherine from the Parish Church popped up on their classroom computer screens to lead prayer and talk about the importance of equality and treating others as you would wish to be treated yourself. It was the first act of worship at the school since the Covid-19 Lockdown began and was warmly received by pupils and staff. Several pupils shared prayers and we were also joined online from home by teacher, Mrs Nicholau.

Unfortunately due to Covid -19 protocols we were unable to sing our favourite worship songs but hopefully this situation will change shortly with the lessening of restrictions coming into place.

  • Mental Health Awareness Week competition

Mon 01 Jun 2020 Ms Beg

Thank you to everyone who took the time to reflect upon what kindness means and participate in this competition. I was completely overwhelmed by the lovely examples of kindness that everyone shared!

I could only select 3 winning entries for a gold award and it was a difficult task indeed as everyone had

clearly put a lot of effort and thought behind what kindness means.

    Ms Beg.
