Year 6 Charity Cake Bake Sale
Tue 10 Nov 2015Our Year 6 pupils had a cake sale for the charity Many Tears, please see below the letter they sent to the charity along with a cheque.
Dear Many Tears,
We are writing to you due to the fact we recently had a bake sale at our school and we have raised some money for your organisation “Many Tears”. The reason why we raised money for you is as follows:
Recently we heard about the despicable behaviour of some illegal dog breeders so we sprung into action straight away. Our team of nine pupils have raised £173.49. We hope this amount of money will be useful.
Please except our donation and good wishes.
Yours faithfully
The Year 6 Bakers from Chingford CofE Primary School

Cross Country 07.11.2015
Mon 09 Nov 2015Success!
Despite the bad weather, all the girls and boys from C of E put in a brilliant performance on Sat 7th Nov on Chingford Plains. The children had to run 1 mile up against around 200 other boys and girls from Waltham Forest and Essex. A special well done to Patrick Bacon year 6 who was the 6th boy to finish and Stephanie Letchford year 4 who was the 13th girl to finish. Also fantastic team efforts, our girls A team received bronze medals and our boys A team won the gold!
A big thanks to the children, the never ending parental support through the elements and staff who turned up to cheer the children on. Finally a huge thanks to Mrs Gordon who helped organise the event along with our local running club Orion Harriers.
