Parents make a massive impact improving the Infant site on DIY day this Saturday 20th September!
Sat 20 Sep 2025Thank you to all the parents, older siblings and children who came and helped on Saturday 20th September. Your cleaning, sanding, jet-washing, repairing, painting, gardening has made a huge difference! The site looks lovely!
A special thank you to Jon Reidy, who coordinated this event as he has successfully done so for a number of years now. Jon is now handing the baton of organisation on to Agnieszka and Toby Whitaker, as his daughter has left us for secondary school. Jon goes with our heart felt thanks.
Agnieszka and Toby are regular volunteers (along with their three children, who work hard, gardening and clearing) at our DIY days, so they know what they are taking on! Plus they know first hand how it helps maintain the life the children's play equipment and make everything look that bit lovelier for everyone!
School budgets are so stretched nationally and this type of support is invaluable. Thank you to everyone who donated plants and money towards paint and soil too! It all helps and it is really appreciated!
