• Reception went to the Fire Station!

  A huge thank you to Chingford Fire Station for hosting our Reception classes this week. The children learnt about fire safety and the work of the firefighters. They had a thoroughly informative and enjoyable experience.

  

• Cross Country Success!

  The children who ran in the Borough Cross Country Race on Chingford Plain, did very well on Saturday! The Girls team brought home Gold and the boys team Bronze! Lucia came 2^nd out of 176 girl runners! Bailey came 13^th out of 213 boy runners! We also won a HUGE special cup for the best combined results for our girls and boys teams!

  It was a lovely morning, after the initial fog, the sun shone and although the route was like mud soup in places, everyone did their very best! Huge congratulations to the Y6 runners who entered simply because it was their last opportunity to do so before secondary school and ran so well! Special mention to Finnan, who finished the race despite having a fall and hurting himself.  Thank you especially to Miss Efreme for organising our teams and to all the staff, parents and carers who came to cheer the children on.
