We've Done It Again!
Sun 29 Jan 2017For the third year in a row, the school's boys' 6 a-side football team have qualified for a tournament where the winning school gets to represent Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League U11's School Tournament which this season will be held at Stamford Bridge - home of Chelsea.
Last season our team won the competition to represent Spurs and sensationally managed to get to the semi-final of the Premier League tournament staged at Goodison Park, home of Everton FC.
This year's team earned their wonderful opportunity after finishing second in a regional round robin competition held at 'Goals'.
This season's success means that the boys will take on teams from other North London Boroughs at Spurs' prestigious training ground to battle out who will represent the club in the 2017 finals.
Team coach, Michael Winspear, was full of praise for the players commenting, "It's a great achievement for the school to qualify for the latter stage of this competition for the third year in a row. Having the chance to play at Spurs' £30 million state of the art training ground will be a tremendous experience for the players. To get to represent Spurs at Chelsea's ground in a Premier League tournament involving 19 other top flight sides would be a dream come true."
