Red Balloon Foundation Christmas Boxes
Mon 14 Dec 2020The Red Balloon Foundation work closely with the school supporting us with collective worship and the teaching of Religious Education. They have also helped us set up prayer spaces and run a lunch time prayer club for Year 2 pupils.
This Christmas Red Balloon have supplied each class with a Christmas Box of resources and a PowerPoint presentation linking Christmas traditions of today with the events surrounding the birth of Christ.
Year 5 pupil, Tommy, said he found the PowerPoint presentation, 'inspiring'. Fellow Year 5 pupil, Kristal, described the Christmas Box resources as being, 'useful'. Kristal added, 'I loved the smell of the myrrh.'
The Red Balloon Foundation's involvement with the school is funded by our local church. For more details about the charity visit their website: www.rbf.org.uk
