London Youth Games
Thu 05 Jul 2018We’ve had a great day! The team enjoyed watching dance performances by other schools and made some new friends from other London boroughs.
Our team competed very well and to the best of their ability, doing us very proud. Of course, after a fantastic day of competing, we celebrated with ice cream!

Sports Day
Wed 13 Jun 2018As long as the weather permits we will be having Sport's Day this Wed 13th June on the junior field. It's the morning for the infants and the afternoon for juniors.
It starts at 9.30am for Reception, Y1 and Y2
and at 1.30pm for Y3, Y4,Y5 and Y6.
Wear a t-shirt in your team's colour-each child is either-Red, Green, Blue or Yellow. Check with your teacher if you can't remember!

Year 3 Pupils Visit Synagogue
Thu 08 Mar 2018As part of their Religious Education studies, Year 3 pupils recently travelled to Buckhurst Hill to visit Rabbi Odom Brandman who leads the Chabad Lubavitch synagogue.
Rabbi Brandman commended the children describing them as, "well-behaved and respectful."

**PUPIL PROGRESS MEETINGS POSTPONED**
Thu 01 Mar 2018Dear Parents/Carers,
In light of the snowy, cold weather conditions we postponed the planned pupil progress meetings for parents from Thu 1st March, until Tuesday 6th March and Wednesday 7th March next week.
Thursday 1st March we are open as usual, although we will still close early as we had planned:
1.10pm-Reception classes shut
1.20pm-Y1&2 classes shut
1.30pm-Y3,4,5,6 classes shut
You can re-book parent progress meetings on line for next Tuesday or Wednesday. We will hold 10 minute appointment times for pupil progress meetings on Tuesday 6th March from 3.30pm-6.30pm and again on Wednesday 7th March from 3.30pm-6pm. After school club will be open as normal on both evenings as will any clubs.
A new date for Olive Dining’s taster session will be arranged and you will be advised in due course.

Year 3 Visit to Leyton Mosque
Sat 24 Feb 2018Year 3 had a very informative trip to Noor-ul-Islam Mosque in Leyton on Wednesday 21st February as part of their RE studies on Islam. The Mosque leader wrote to Ms Lampard commending the children's respectful and considerate behaviour in a place of worship. He said they were the best school group that they have had visit.
