  • Enabling Enterprise trip to MFS Investments

    Wed 17 Oct 2018

On Tuesday 16th October, twenty Year 5 children took part in an Enabling Enterprise Day at the investment bank, MFS at St Paul's in London. The aim of the day was for the children to create their own business opportunity with the aid of volunteers who work at the company. The children had an imaginary amount of money to spend on what they'd need to set up and then had to pitch their business plan! There was no winning team but awards were given for Teamwork, Imagination, Leadership and Sharing ideas.

After a fantastic lunch, which was provided, they were then taken on a tour of the office and we even went into the trading room. The views of St Paul's Cathedral, the Shard and the London Eye from the windows were beautiful! The people who worked there commented on how hard the children worked and what a credit they were to our school.
